Best grab and go inner city lunches in New Zealand

"If you had ever thought that sandwiches were lame and were only for the 40 year old office guy who still lives with his mum then I’m going to say that you are potentially too cool for your own good. Seriously, sandwiches are where it’s at. You don’t need fancy exotic lunch options to be the envy of your workmates, you just need a Sliced sandwich. This is next level sandwich making, with gourmet ingredients and fresh artisan bread. These are sandwiches that would put a 1950’s housewife to shame. The best part is, you can have exactly what you want in it because they make it from scratch, ok so maybe not the bread, but the rest of it… from scratch!"

"I would describe Pita Pita as a cross between a kebab and a wrap. You may be thinking a Pita is that really thick pocket bread, or perhaps a certain boy next store. You are probably right, which is nice. The pita I’m thinking of has a lot less carbs and a lot less bodily function. It’s basically just really amazing and healthy and you should try it. Don’t be afraid to ask for extra aoili on your pita, it’s really tasty and you won’t regret it. Oh and I would recommend you go for toasted rather than fresh, a little bit of crispy bread can go a long way. Always remember, don’t compare Pita Pit to Subway - they are not even in close to bring in the same category, shame on you."
