In certain situations, these businesses sell items or provide promotions to you through Localist's Service. In other situations, Localist provides services, or sells products jointly with these businesses. You can easily recognise when one of these businesses is associated with your transaction, and we will share your Personal Information that is related to such transactions with that business.

This includes exchanging information with other companies and organisations for fraud protection and credit risk reduction.
Tailoring information you get from our website
Sometimes, Localist may tailor advertising or other content available to you on our website, to help make sure you are getting information that is relevant to you.
Posting information on our website
Localist provides a great opportunity for you to keep an eye on goings on in your area and to post your own tips and opinions. If you choose to post content on our website, your public user profile and the contents of your post and any corresponding comments will be public. Your public user profile will also show the level of tokens that you have collected under our consumer rewards or business recognition schemes towards your status, in the form of an icon representing your reputation level if you reach super reviewer status.
When you use our mobile app to post about a business, your public user profile will be updated to show your post history (i.e. all businesses that you’ve posted about). The fact that you have posted about a business may also show on that business’s online listing page.
Any other registered user can choose to follow you on Localist. This means that, as your follower, they will get a feed showing your user generated content (so if you recommend a great business, they’ll know about it too!). They will also see information that’s available on your public Localist user profile, like who you follow and who follows you, and which businesses you have checked in at.
