Localist Marketplace Booster product schedule

The terms and conditions in this product schedule apply to you if you sign up to Localist Marketplace Booster either online or by talking to your Business Development Manager. These terms and conditions are in addition to our terms of business, advertising policy and our other terms and conditions and policies (all of these are available at www.localist.co.nz/p/legal-stuff). These additional terms apply to Marketplace Booster as well, so if you haven’t already, you should read and consider these carefully. We may want to change these terms and conditions from time to time, so keep an eye out, as we will publish our amended terms and conditions on our website. Continuing to use or receive our products and services will mean that you agree to our changes.

 

2. What you need to do

If you already have a Localist Marketplace listing and want to sign up for Marketplace Booster, all you need to do is sign up online or talk to your Business Development Manager. If you don't already have a Localist Marketplace listing, you will need to sign up for one first, but you can add Marketplace Booster at the same time. You will also need to pay us. We take care of everything else!

 

3. What we’ll do

We have developed a range of Marketplace Booster advertisements for different categories of goods and services. We will write the wording of the advertisements, and automatically select advertisements that apply to your business. Each time someone searches on terms or views certain webpages our website, we will also display a selection of Marketplace Booster advertisements relevant to that webpage. If the webpage is relevant to your business, your Marketplace Booster advertisement may be shown. If a user clicks on your Marketplace Booster advertisement, they'll be taken to your Localist Marketplace listing.

 

Naturally, you won't be the only advertiser in your category. Also, you don’t “own” your Marketplace Booster advertisement or keywords. Other businesses (including your competitors) may use similar or identical Marketplace Boosters advertisements.

 

To ensure a fair system for all Marketplace Booster customers, advertisements are chosen automatically by our computers. Users may therefore see different Marketplace Booster advertisements at different times (but the advertisements they do see will be relevant to the webpage they are viewing). We can't control which Marketplace Booster advertisements appear on which pages and at which times, but our computers are set up to act fairly between different advertisers. 

 

We’ll report back to you on a monthly basis as to how your Marketplace Booster advertising campaign is doing.

 

4. Timing

It may take up to 3 business days from receipt of your first cleared payment for your Marketplace Booster advertising campaign to start. After that, it may take up to another 3 business days to change or remove your Marketplace Booster advertisements.

 

5. Charges

The charges for Marketplace Booster are set out on our website and will be listed on your sales order. We may change our charges for Marketplace Booster from time to time, unless we have agreed in our sales order to charge you a fixed price for a defined period of time. Where we have agreed in our sales order to charge you a fixed price for a defined period of time, once that period expires you will be charged at our then-current charges.

 

6. Payment and minimum term

This is a subscription product with a term of 12 months. This is explained more fully in our terms of business, but in summary means that you will pay for Marketplace Booster in monthly instalments, and you have to sign up for a term of 12 months. After the 12 months is up, your Marketplace Booster advertising campaign will automatically renew for another 12 month term unless you tell us otherwise.
