About Get Traffic

This product schedule applies to Get Traffic in addition to our terms of business, advertising policy and our other terms and conditions and policies (all of these are available at www.localist.co.nz/p/legal-stuff). If you haven’t already, you should read and consider these terms carefully. We may want to change these terms from time to time, so keep an eye out, as we will publish our amended terms and conditions on our website. Continuing to use or receive our products and services will mean that you agree to our changes.

You will need a Marketplace listing or Get Started package to Get Traffic!

Get Traffic is only available to customers who do not have an existing Marketplace Booster, or a booking into the first edition of Localist Good Guide for any region. Get Traffic is available for a limited period only. One Get Traffic package per business customer only.

Localist will provide for your business:

Marketplace Booster - text ad to appear on certain webpages of the Localist website for a period of 12 months commencing once payment has been received.
A Mini Business Profile – to appear in 3 issues of your chosen regional edition of the Localist Good Guide (1 region only may be chosen). Images can be provided by you, or selected from our library of stock images and will appear from the issue date of the chosen regional Localist Good Guide.
A Display Advertising Listing Banner - to appear on existing free listings on our digital product (website) for a period of 90 days commencing once your ad proof has been approved.

Marketplace Booster

When people search on terms or view webpages on Localist relevant to your business, an advertisement for your business may appear. People can simply click your ad to be taken to your Localist Marketplace listing. Please see product schedule for Marketplace Booster under Legal Stuff on the Localist website.

Mini Business Profile

Your quarter page mini business profile advertisement will appear in 3 issues of the regional Localist Good Guide of your choice.

Display Advertising - Listing Banner

We have developed a range of Display Advertising inventory for premium Display Advertising on localist.co.nz. Each time someone searches on terms or views certain webpages on our website, we will also display a selection of Display Advertisements relevant to that webpage. If a user clicks on your Display Advertisement, they'll be taken to your Localist Marketplace listing.

To ensure a fair system for all Display Advertising customers, advertisements are chosen automatically by our computers. Users may therefore see different Display Advertisements at different times. We will try to ensure that the advertisements they do see will be relevant to the webpage they are viewing. We can't control which Display Advertisements appear on which pages and at which times, but our computers are set up to act fairly between different advertisers. You’ll be able to review and provide feedback on the Listing Banner, and be entitled to one round of professional edits to the advertisement.

Imagery

You will also need to provide any imagery that you’d like to use, in high resolution format, if you’re not using our stock imagery. Remember that you must own or have the right to use your images, and that if you are using our stock imagery, you won’t have exclusive rights to the image you choose. This means that someone else could be using the same image in their advertisement.

Ownership and intellectual property rights

You will continue to own (or will continue to have the right to use) any original content that you or your design agency provide to us for use in your advertisement. But you need to be aware that even if your advertisement contains content that you or your design agency have supplied, we own the overall compiled and templated form of your advertisement as it appears in our print products or digital products. This means that you need to ask our permission if you want to reproduce or use your advertisement anywhere outside of our products. Please see our Localist Terms of Business for more information.

You grant us a perpetual, royalty free, non-exclusive and irrevocable licence or sub-licence to use, copy and modify all content produced as part of your Get Traffic package. This means that we can use your advertisements on the Localist website, and for other activities (like showing other possible customers an example of the Get Traffic package, or a Mini Business Profile print advertisement, or a Listing Banner digital advertisement).

You appoint us as your agent to carry out any design services in relation to Get Traffic in accordance with this product schedule and the Terms of Business.

Charges

Payment is required to be made in monthly instalments over a period of 12 months. The charges for Get Traffic will be listed on your sales order.

Should you wish to renew your contract for the Listing Banner after the expiry of the 90 day period, or your Mini Business Profile after publication of your final advertisement, please talk to your Business Development Manager. The applicable charges at that time will be explained by your Business Development Manager and listed in your sales order.
