"We went to Crystal Mountain specifically to see the animals. We pretty much had the park to ourselves - surprising for a Saturday - and happily wandered around, feeding and petting the llamas, deer, sheep etc. They were all were very happy to pose for photos with us, and we even got to see some newborn bunnies. If you’re even remotely an animal person this place is well worth a visit."
"Great place to grab a coffee and take the kids. You can pick up some really nice gifts for from the gift shop for the 'Mrs' or special lady in your life."
"This is a fascinating place to take the kids. With a petting zoo of farm animals to pat, feed and ride, a train and a mini rollercoaster to enjoy, and gold to be panned for, there is still enough time to spend admiring the incredible array of crystals in the shop - after a visit underground down the elevator! A wonderful combination of fun and learning!"

"We love Bethells Beach, an unspoiled piece of paradise that I grew up in and now get to watch my children enjoy just as much as I did"
"Sand dunes are fun to muck around on... Take your surf board and catch some waves or take the kids to the calm cove for a splash..."

"The library service in Auckland is great, especially since the new super city library network came into play. The massey library is a well laid out library with lots of little nooks and crannies for reading. There is a GREAT childrens corner with some super funky original cushions. Great community hub."
" Great Library. Its not as big as some of the others but still good selection. Its great how all the libraries are linked now. So I just request something online and pick it up from Massey. The computers to search for things are a bit slow but other than that no faults with the service."
" Went here for the first time the other day and was really impressed. A really lovely bulding with a great water feature outside. Will have to return in the Summer for the kids to have a splash lol. Inside there is a well set out kids area with toys and books. Nicely set out library for adults too!"

" Kerry Marie is just amazing!! I go regularly to healings and they make me feel fantastic . And her readings are just out of this world, really insightful. And I have seen a few psychics in my time. But nothing compares to Kerry Marie!"

" Its so true that people try all kinds of different things before they settle on one particular place. In your travels or if you are looking for a good church then try Church Unlimited, the people are all very nice if you get to know them and are more than willing to go out of there way to help you and make you feel welcome. The New Cafe is a great place to meet new people and fellowship with the congregation , they even get famous people going there sometimes. So no matter what your looking for you will likely find it at CU if you want to see it."
"The pastors at church unlimited are so caring and tentative! The congregation are very friendly and the church has a loving family like environment :) They have many care groups and different ministries for a place for everyone to fit in and find their zone! Very bible focused and non-judgmental leaders here! :)"

"A bit of a smaller library, they are waiting to be upgraded to a new big building. In the meantime, the staff are always very helpful and friendly. This library has a real community feel. Looking forward to it being even bigger and better."
" A warm, welcoming library. It is a fabulous place to visit whether just to peruse the books or to research. It has excellent facilites and is enhanced by having the study service centre next door with computer courses. The staff are always helpful, and the library has benefited by joining the supercity in that you can return central books here."
" The library is one of our favourite spots for 'Mummy Daugther dates'. She loves the huge selection of childrens books, and we always end up spending some time deciding just which ones to take with us! We've also enjoyed the Wiggle & Rhyme sessions here, and think it's a great way to encourage a life-long love of reading. I have worked my way through many, many books from here, and love the fact that you can hire the new releases for a small fee. "

"Discovered this place a couple of weeks ago and have since been 3 times. My toddlers love it. Good range of activities, my son loves the slide, my daughter the swing walk. Both loved exploring in the bushes and hiding in the different sculptures. Well thought out, good parking, picnic tables and only a 30 second walk from Catalina cafe. "

"The Te Atatu Toy Library has a great selection of toys mainly for pre-schoolers. You pay an annual membership fee to join (though be aware there is generally a waiting list). You can then hire three toys a fortnight ranging from 50 cents to $2.00 each per hire. They also have books available on topics such as parenting, making birthday cakes etc. You can hire two at a time and it's free to hire them. If you're a local, they're well worth checking out."

"Once you have made it up and over the massive sand dunes - without giving in to the urge to roll all the way back down them - you will come to the beautiful Lake Wainamu. If you are anything like me you will have also trudged through the river on your way because you chose to park in the first of the two carparks. The walk around the lake is the perfect way to clear your head on a Sunday morning and suitable for all fitness types. In the winter it gets a little muddy so I would recommend sturdy shoes but on those hot summer days make sure you bring your togs - it’s hard to resist that refreshing fresh water. Speaking of refreshing, part way down the track is the perfect spot to bring out your inner dare devil as there just happens to be a sturdy tree branch which hangs over the water - perfect for jumping off. Time and time again I find myself wishing I had brought a piece of cardboard to slide down the dunes on, next time it will be the first thing I pack!"
