"Pasifika and community, life and laughter in Aotearoa. Papakura Art Gallery brings the NZ melting pot into focus with poignant local exhibitions and a true sense of community."
"Perhaps one of the more accessible art spaces in Auckland, the Papakura Gallery draws from its local roots and hold it’s own in the art world. It may be one of the smaller spaces around but I always leave the gallery feeling more inspired then after any other gallery visit. As a Papakura girl at heart I can’t speak more highly of this little space and over the years I have seen it grow into the amazing gallery that it is today #proud."

"Manurewa library has very friendly staff and excellent programmes for young children. On Wednesdays at 9:30 they have Wriggle and Rhyme, a free music and movement programme for 0-2s (followed by a cuppa and biscuit) and on Fridays they have story time for older preschoolers. There are always good programmes on during the school holidays, and (like all the Auckland libraries) they have a great range of books and audio for kids as well as a well stocked section on Parenting books."
