"Pasifika and community, life and laughter in Aotearoa. Papakura Art Gallery brings the NZ melting pot into focus with poignant local exhibitions and a true sense of community."
"Perhaps one of the more accessible art spaces in Auckland, the Papakura Gallery draws from its local roots and hold it’s own in the art world. It may be one of the smaller spaces around but I always leave the gallery feeling more inspired then after any other gallery visit. As a Papakura girl at heart I can’t speak more highly of this little space and over the years I have seen it grow into the amazing gallery that it is today #proud."

"Awesome place! - Regularly scheduled activities for men, women and children. - Well equipped gym. - Islamic library and bookstore. - Family counselling. - Friday sermon in English. - Weekly and monthly Islamic programmes with fantastic food. - Islamic school for children four days a week. - Da'wah activities. - Free Islamic media. - Regularly maintained website and Facebook page. - Large car park with plenty of on-street parking. Above all, if your standards of measure include: - qualified scholars and teachers, along with - correct belief and practice based on the Qur'aan and the authentic Hadeeth according to the understanding of the earliest Muslims (Salaf), God-willing, you will truly appreciate this mosque. AMAZING FACT: This is the only mosque in New Zealand (or anywhere else that I know of) where the person who is most knowledgeable about Islam, the qualified imaam, is also the leader (Chairman) of the organization."

"Te Matariki Clendon community centre is a wonderful resource, both for Clendon and the wider Manurewa and Manukau region. It's a hub of activity, with a great layout. I like how the library and community centre are integrated and am impressed by the wide range of programmes they offer the community - everything from areobics to preschool programmes at the library to a vibrant youth programme which runs most days - Clendon 454."
