every day I see trees being cut down in Mt Eden

I see houses appearing like in a new subdivision as trees disappear and sections cleared of all trees before the building are built . In Mt Eden. But they are not new houses it is that the trees are being chopped down so quickly .

 I worked on the Dingel Dell Reserve in the 1950s and 60s .I moved as many others do moved to Mt Eden for the trees and birds .But without trees this suburb will loose its birds .We will loose our forest like urban environment .

I have always followed forest and bird and have planted tree for the birds.  I urge others to join this organisation or follow the organisation and its work .
