On offer is the best of Hollywood, new and old, along with a selection of clever, sophisticated films for adults. As the best priced cinema on the North Shore, they provide wines and beers from $5.

I have been visiting this cinema since I was a little girl and was so happy when they reopened a couple of years ago. The cinemas are so lovely to sit in and the decor is as it was when it was built (but well maintained!). They also have the MOST delicious icecreams! The choc nut dip is my favourite. A great night out : )
Victoria Picture Palace is a lovely cinema to enjoy a movie at. The staff were very accomodating and friendly. There is a great selection of films. Great selection of wine and snacks (though it'd be nice if they had fresh, hot popcorn). Great to see this place up and running. It was packed the night I went, I will definitely be back. :)
I love going to this cinema, they play art house movies that the major cinemas don't. Plus it's such a cute little building! It really fits in with the aesthetic of Devonport. The staff there are very friendly too.
Havn't been since they done it up.Grand old Theatre like The Civic.I miss The St James.
I cannot think of a better place, a more suitable atmosphere, a friendlier staff than what is offered here. This is what going to the movies is all about, forget all the big complex cinemas, here’s where you want to go for the best movie night out.
Inni, the Sigur Rós Concert film will play at the Victoria (44 seats) and the Academy (210 seats) on December 3 at 10pm...
