I love Viands Butter Chicken pie. It's just the right amount of spicy and sweet in a thick, creamy butter sauce. The pastry is just the right amount of flakey - good for when I'm grabbing a quick pie on the go while trying to juggle driving at the same time (it means I don't get pastry crumbs all over the car).

    I am totally wild about their banana donuts - with two branches in Kihikihi and Te Awamutu, these guys literally have the (baked) goods, when it comes to sweet treats. I can honestly say, that traditional donuts will never rock my boat after having one of Viands’ banana donuts - fresh banana in donut read topped with heaps of cinnamon and sugar. Divine!

      Sweet teeth can find award winning fruit pies at this lovely family run bakery. Try the Gingered Peach n Pear with Cointreau for a special treat! Traditional pie lovers will enjoy the Steak n Cheese and other classic hearty flavours.
