Amazing food, atmosphere and excellent service. Sometimes there is a bit of a wait but they have wireless pagers to say when you table is ready.

Takapuna Beach Cafe is just about the only reason bringing me to Takapuna again and again.
Forgot to mention, they also look after your dogs nicely outside the cafe.
It's worth a drive just going there to have their Ice Cream from the store. They've won a ton of awards for it and I haven't tried anywhere better.
