Toddler Friendly, Free Fluffies... Perfect!

The last time I went to Verrans Cafe was well over a year ago, pre-kids. From an ‘adult’ perspective I very much enjoyed the homely layout, spacious interior, great food and relaxed vibe. This time around I stopped in with a friend and 11 month old for a quick coffee. I went armed with the clip-on high chair, but didn’t need to. They had two high chairs ready to use, clean, and in great condition. We settled into a very comfy sofa by the large front window with plenty of space for the high chair. We ordered coffee from the chatty and friendly staff, and I thought it was great they provided a free fluffy for the little ones. Expecting only a little frothy milk for the fluffy (it was free after all) I was taken aback with the cute espresso cup of frothy milk topped with chocolate dust, 100s and 1000s, mini marshmallows and a chocolate fish! That kept little one happy for the duration of the visit. Our coffees were great. Fast, tasty, strong and just what was needed in a cold day. There were plenty of toys and books for the kids and magazines for the adults. Overall it was a perfect outing and we’ll be going back soon.
