A little about us
The Kings Arms is one of the oldest pubs in town with one of the biggest and sunniest garden bars around.
The ‘K.A’ is the city’s premiere rock’n’ roll venue with live music 4 or 5 nights a week and in the garden bar on Sunday afternoons.
It’s the most reliable venue to catch an earful of what’s going down in the local live rock scene as well as hosting plenty of international acts passing through

In my opinion the best place to watch live music in Auckland. Depending on the band, you might need to get in quick for tickets - the place hosts some big international acts that would normally play in venues 3 or 4 times the size. Mark the sound engineer knows the room like he knows his mother - well - so you’re ears are treated. Don’t be fooled by the seedy old men out front of the sports bar side of this place, they’re friendly.

Fancy going out to check out a live band? If you haven’t been to the Kings Arms yet then I really don’t know how you have survived in the Auckland music scene. They have an awesome outdoor area, so if you’re a smoker then you’re all set to go!
Great music venue, especially in the summer. Heaps of places to sit and lax, while you're waiting for a band and great outdoor courtyard area. Bonus is that there is plenty of parking too.

A stable of live music in Auckland. I love the versatility of this venue - I’ve seen huge international acts here as well as really intimate local gigs. The outdoor beer garden is the perfect place to step away for a few moments to get amped up for the next act.
