the fish here is always served hot and fresh. the menu has a large range of items available, all at very affordable prices. service is great and efficient, all the staff are hardworking and polite. definitely worth a visit

I love having a great local fish and chip shop that serves quality fresh fish and is well priced. This place is always busy, yet you don't ever have to wait long. Sometimes the fish is a bit greasy but overall it's still one of the best Fish and Chip shops in Auckland!

They make amazing fish n chips. I have been here twice n every single time the fish has been fresh and also the batter is not thick but nice and crispy. I love the kumara chips and mussels too. Fish sizes are not that big but enough.

I really love this place! Good effort

What a great find, It's been ages since I really enjoyed a good helping of fish and chips. This place has a wide variety of fish to choose from and offerings I've never seen from a fish and chip establishment before. They offer gluten free batter for those with allergies, if you bring your fish in from the weekend fishing trip they'll cook it for you and they offer three ways to cook any fish on the menu - battered, crumbed or grilled. And to top it all off they have fresh fillets brought in daily and placed on display that you can hand pick and are priced by weight that they'll cook too. How epic is that!

The Fish & Chip Shop has the best fish and chips I have ever tasted. Hands down. While the name of the store isn't very inspiring, their food is absolutely delicious. The store was pumping, and it was only Thursday night. The decor is much classier than your typical takeaway- black and white tiles on the floors and wall, a black cushioned bench lines the back wall, with a stack of recent Metro magazines for you to peruse.  The menu looks delicious- a variety of fish to choose from, including the Kiwi favourite snapper, all available battered, or crumbed with Panko. They offer all your traditional fish and chip favourites- a range of seafood, hot dogs, kumara chips and pineapple fritters- and an inspiring range of burgers. I chose a piece of battered Fish of the Day, and my partner chose a Beef Burger with Cheese, and we shared a scoop of chips. We waited around 10 minutes for our order, which I thought was super quick considering how many orders were flying around. My fish was deliciously fresh and perfectly cooked- the batter was light and not greasy. The chips were perfect too- they note they only use Agria chips, which must be their secret to amazingly golden crispy chips that are fluffy on the inside, and very lightly salted. One scoop was definitely enough to share between two hungry people. I was impressed that they included lemon wedges for my fish. The beef burger with cheese was absolutely delicious. The beef patty was about 3cm thick, well cooked and juicy, with a nice onion flavour. It rested on a bed of caramelised onions, with   fancy lettuce (the frilly kind), an amazing relish and plenty of cheese, inside a massive sesame seed bun. We agreed it was probably the best burger we'd ever eaten! I liked that it came in a recyclable paper-based container, not plastic or polystyrene. We will definitely be eating here again. I can see why they were voted in the top 3 fish and chip stores in Auckland, I can't stop raving about them!

The burgers here are awesome. Great value for money at 7.90. There's also a lunch deal where for 9.90 or so you get a burger, chips and a coke. These burgers are massive, well cooked and flavoursome. They are filled with home made aoli, tomato sauce, and a delicious onion jam. They also have cheese. delicious!

We ordered a lot of fish and chips and weren’t disappointed . The different types of fish labelled in separate bags was great. Impressed with the cleanliness of the interior of the store. Would like to see an old school milkshake bar and more burgers, but then if it ain’t broke…. Top notch establishment.

The best fish and chips in town!

The chips and battered fish are fantastic! unfortunately the crumbed fish gets a bit burnt sometimes.  but we still go back!  it
