The last 24 hours have been more of the same for Moana only perhaps not quite as vigorous as the 36 hours previous.
The weather is still not conducive to rowing and the suggestion is that Team Gallagher may continue in this holding pattern until 2 January. However, one weather predictor being followed suggests conditions might improve slightly earlier. With any luck this will be the case.
Meanwhile the fellas get to rest, play hangman on the ceiling of the cabin, send position updates on their Skycom phone and ask themselves ‘can someone please remind me why we are doing this?’
It is of course to push the boundaries of human endeavour and to raise awareness of the plight of our oceans, in particular the coral reefs.
