Day three dispatch from the Moana - Team Gallagher crew member Martin Berka reports:
"The sea has been quite rough with three to four metre swells and a northeasterly of 20 to 35 knots. The drogue (sea anchor) is out and we will continue rowing again on Sunday. Will drift east in the meantime.
Nige is in pain after coming down with what appears to be a urinary tract infection, and Andy was stung by a bluenose. Jim is doing ok, I'm a bit sea sick but taking Paihia Bombs (sea sickness tablets) which help. But apart from that, crashing waves and dodging tankers, we are all good otherwise.”

yeah, you wouldn't want to take on a tanker, no matter how cool your row boat is!
Wow! Rough start to the challenge. Hope it gets smoother soon.
Rough start. Keep finger cross and give your 100. You guys Gonna rock.
All the best.
How do you get stung by a bluenose??
