I feel like not much more needs to be said, as the photo of Te Whau’s view is doing a whole lot of talking (click to view). I will say though that they have consistently won awards for their food and wine through their years on the island - and that they have OYSTERS FROM WAIHEKE to go with your champagne. Note: The restaurant is open for lunch and wine tastings on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, with dinner on Saturday nights also. From November 1st they’ll be open for lunch and wine tasting six days a week (closed Tuesdays) from 11am-5pm. You must book!

I'd been to Te Whau to sample the wines and take in the most beautiful view of Auckland, but friends who had been to Te Whau to eat were insistent that we MUST try the sticky date pudding. At 11.30 am eating dessert would usually be strange, but this was a welcome exception to the rules. Simply out of this world, the best sticky date I have ever had!

Te Whau is definitely my favourite spot on Waiheke. It never disappoints with its amazing views across to Auckland as well as it's beautifully crafted meals. I can't wait to go back this summer.

and Oh ! so close to Auckland City and Little Palmy .Sunny days .

Loved it .

Beautiful location at Te Whau Point on Waiheke with a top grade restaurant. If you can get one of the tables on the deck, the view is stunning. Try a bottle of their flagship drop -  The Point.

Lovely lovely lovely. Always have amazingly great service from the very friendly staff. The food and wine is also gorgeous. Worth the drive out for sure.
