Sitting near the centre of Mt Mangonui this little German bakery serves up Bavarian style pretzels (Brezels), delicious stone baked pizzas and several other goodies of the bready, baked variety.

Prices are reasonable, service is quick and friendly and the selection is wide and varied, making Speidel's the perfect spot for a quick lunch or brekky fix!

Speidel’s is a German bakery that specialises in pretzels and "brezels", which is a more bready, Bravarian-style pretzel. They also do amazing stone-baked pizza. When I used to live around the corner from Speidels I would sometimes have a pretzel for lunch them grab a pizza for dinner! Yummmmm, gluten overload.
