I’m not sure how old this pub is nevertheless The Rose & Shamrock is a classic Irish/English themed village pub right in Havelock North. It’s got everything - family-friendly, outdoor seating, great pub decor, menu, bar list and entertainment - and it’s usually filled with a fun crowd.

    An open fire, good ol’ fish and chips or a steaming plate of home style cooking on a cold winter’s day around an open fire sound like a successful recipe for a cold winter’s night. The popular and family-friendly Rose & Shamrock fits the bill. Check it out for local quiz night and live entertainment.
