3 days of non-stop partying to the soundtrack of an epic selection of local and international acts, Rhythm & Vines is not to be missed.

Definitely one of the most anticipated festivals of the year, R&V is held in the beautiful Waiohika Estate vineyard in Gisborne, with the final night leading into the New Year.

The bands that play here are some of the best in the world, previous acts including Bastille, Tinie Tempah and Rudimental.

If you haven't yet taken a moment to shake your groove thing at Rhythm and Vines in sunny Gisborne then you haven't partied like it's 1999 or even 2014 for that matter. Every year, R & V delivers with a great international line-up of international artists and covers many different genres so matter what your musical tastes, you're bound to find something that will be an aural surprise and delight. While camping is available on-site, younger crowds love the vibe of the BW Campgrounds on Gisborne's The Strip as there is a full line-up of artists that also play this rowdy venue. If you are like fine wine and getting better with age then one of the best recommendations I have for R & V is to hire yourself a beautiful bach at Wainui and head into the festival each evening for a good, old-fashioned knees-up.

Rhythm and Vines festival is the juggernaut of the New Year party scene. Held at Waiohika Estate vineyard, Gisborne it is recognised as one of the World’s Best NYE Festivals
