The best place to find what you were and weren't looking for. One of the first and longest lasting true record stores in New Zealand, and an Auckland icon. Not only do we have records but also a fantastic range of unique books, CDs, DVDs, posters, collectibles, novelties, t-shirts, music related memorabilia and more. We also sell the majority of tickets to gigs in Auckland. Real Groovy Auckland has been independently owned since 1981.

Brings back memories of my childhood

This is such an iconic Auckland store. I remember queuing up over night for concert tickets. The atmosphere alone is worth a visit.

Great Selections

Love wandering through this store just to see what they have. Good selection of music and new and used DVDs. Nice staff who are very helpful as well.
