This is where I go to get most of my Christmas presents particularly for the kids. They have a great range of well prices stocking fillers and the gift wrap too! The staff are friendly and helpful and if you need something for the grown up too, you’ll definitely be able to find something. A gorgeous little store filled with beautiful, quirky, and useful things.
Not only this, Andrea (and her team) make any one who steps inside feel more than "just a customer". This has resulted in my feeling as if, even though I do not live in West Lynn, this gift store is my truly "local store". I do not know how Andrea does this, but she also manages to source the most amazing range of affordable products, and her placement of pieces in the shop is a work of art. Like most places, Grey Lynn has changed. Having lived here all our lives, we've seen it get more and more trendier, pavements redecorated (and we don't mean tagging) and house prices quadruple. It's comforting to know that great service, curiosity and caring is still in this neighbourhood. Cherie made us feel so at home and asked questions which made us feel special. Not the "I just work here part-time so I can save for a car" questions but ones that actually made you go, wow, you know what we're talking about.
