We love Peppermint Twist and visit very often especially in the summer . Cute lil casual Icecream palour, cant go past a takeaway sundae with coconut marshmallow icecream, whipped cream and hot fudge - the BEST!

This is a cute little classic ice-cream parlour in Te Atatu. They stock Streets ice-cream, so it's nothing fancy, but it's good because it's cheap. Kids cones start at $1.40, and they have a good range of flavours. They also have some delicious looking waffles, pancakes and chocolate mud cake - so it's a good spot for a treat. 

Peppermint Twist is a classic ice cream parlour.  You really feel like you've stepped back in time.  Best of all, it's really cheap, so a great place for a family outing.  Their ice cream is not gourmet, but well worth it for the price.  Highly recommend some of their desserts such as the chocolate cake and the pancakes!!!  Yum!!!  They've recently installed a coffee machine too.

One of the highlights in Te Atatu, and worth a trip to the peninsula itself. It's a delicious place to go for a treat. Friendly staff, loads of parking and great ice cream! Another fabulous place to go in Te Atatu.
