Owners , Jack and Sophia Tang received a ‘Highly Commended’ for their chicken,cranberry and camembert pie in the 2013 Bakels NZ Supreme Pie Awards . They're open really early...like really early.I know... crazy, but Onehunga is just waking up at that hour and people stop in on their way to work. I found it hard to sleep in one wintry morning so I moseyed on down (hiding my PJ top) and smelled the fresh bread baking. I walked home with my loaf snuggled underneath my coat. Service is friendly. They sell a good variety of pastries, pies and sweet delights. They even sell kebabs(on a stick), toasties & fresh coffee.

A little bakery that looks yummy through Ye window but I found there baked goods a little soft (from being left out). Sandwiches good, haven’t heard much about the birthday cakes yet
