OK don't tell anyone I said this but the Butterfly enclosure at Discovery is pretty cool/mindbogglingly amazing and awesome. I had butterflies all over and all around me and my feminine side was getting pretty into it - there was squeals and giggles and frolicking. All jokes aside and in my serious voice - I say this is a top notch attraction and worth a look for the phenomenal butterfly enclosure alone.     Great exhibits

      There are loads of things for kids to see and do at Otago Museum. The Museum’s kids programme is full of fun stuff like Discovery Club, a Discovery World Science Show and short film series!

        It’s all about magic, science and discovery these holidays at Otago Museum. Your kids will delight in the activities on offer which involve experiencing a shadow world, rainbows and what it’s like to be invisible.

          With seven galleries to explore and with free entry into the museum, this is the ultimate cheap date venue. The early settler displays are well displayed and super interesting.
