Freshly mixed herbs and spices come to the fore at this award-winning restaurant, who also cater just as well for meals to go. The family will go out of their way to satisfy special requests. I’m devoted to the yummy Tandoori Chicken Tikka marinated in yoghurt, ginger, garlic and spices then roasted to perfection in the clay oven.

    It’s family-run and they put a lot of passion and love into mixing their herbs and spices by hand and keeping what they can local. Good Indian chow and an award-winner, which is equally popular for take-away food, as well as being a quality restaurant. For me –the saag and vindaloo dishes are winners. They’ll deliver, but only to the local Havelock North area if the order is over $50.

      Warming, spicy, home-made food from a family-owned business is a good choice for a cold winter’s day or evening. This place won’t disappoint as it rates consistently high for great food and service. Take-away food is also available.
