A little about us

Bolliwood Restaurant situated in the heart of Ponsonby Road is the most popular Indian restaurant. We are able to accommodate up to 120 people, which is an ideal place for a group function or an intimate dinner for two. You will also be able to enjoy watching the latest bolliwood songs on our big screens while you dine. We have a wide variety of Indian cuisines on our menu and offer exotic curries and vegetarian options too. We are BYO. We also deliver in local areas (Ponsonby, Grey Lynn, Herne Bay, CBD) and do takeaways. We are fully wheelchair accessible.

Products & Specialities

Bolliwood offers a wide variety of mouth-watering Indian cuisines. We also have Specials- $10 Lunch Special (Any curry + Bread + Drink/Juice) from 11.30am-2.30pm daily, All Mains $10 on Mon/Tue/Wed (Dine-in or Take out). Dinner from 5.00pm till late.

If you are after a bargain meal, you should head here on a Mon, Tues or Wed night. All the curry’s are $10 each and they are really tasty

Good Takeaway

Got a takeaway gobi aloo and tikka masala, was super tasty, probably the best I’ve had in the last 6 months. Prompt delivery and good price.

Best Indian on Ponsonby Road!

Bolliwood is delicious, especially on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday's as all mains are only $10. It's BYO also! I recommend trying the Kudhai Chicken or Chicken Tikka Misala!

Good curry but i wouldnt pay $19 for a Tiki Masala or Lamb Sagwala here. Its best to go to Bolliwood on Mon-Tues-Weds where its $10 mains!! Very prompt and efficient service... Read more

Good lunch deal in Ponsonby

If you feel like curry for lunch this place has great lunch deals in Ponsonby ranging from $10 to $12. Beats mall food any time which wood come at about the same cost.

Their $10 meal deal is worth every penny & definitely more value for money that eating indian in the malls. Great ambience too.
