The Rotorua Lakefront is an obvious choice, but also a great one. It has the best facilities, is easy to get to and is pretty much the hub of the city. There are often loads of events happening during summer; from markets to concerts and much more. It has full BBQ and picnic areas, and is also a short stroll from the city and beautiful Government Gardens.

    Well I almost feel clicking "love" on the Rotorua Lakefront is pretty superfluous... but hey this spot deserves loads of love! Obviously the most iconic spot in the Rotorua township. Go for a wander, feed the swans, grab a coffee, lick an ice cream, paddle a kayak... whatever floats your boat really (excuse the pun).

      Rotorua is my home and I love to be by the lake, it helps me to meditate by watching the water rippling, and thus helps me to overcome my depression.

        Beautiful..walking tracks around Sulphur point is magical
