Same as mission bay, the yogurt is awesome. Tried all the samples and still could not decide which yoghurt to choose - all of them are delicous, then you go to the next (hard) part and you can choose from sweets,chocolate,lollies,cream,nuts,sauce,fruit,sprinkles,timtams,nuts,marshmallows !! Best desert shop in Auckland!!
I absolutely love frozen yoghurt (ever since I tried it in the states and wondered if the concept would be brought to new Zealand) - luckily it did. Choosing from the different yoghurt flavors and distributing it out yourself is awesome (you can have as little or as much as you want), and I usually choose more than one frozen yoghurt flavour. Then the toppings, the huge array of toppings on offer - from chocolate to nuts, lollies to fruit and not to forget the sauces (hot and cold sauces). Once you have loaded up you go and pay, and you pay by the weight of it. Not as good as the states (as they have lots more frozen yoghurt flavors on offer), but it’s still pretty good.
Whenever I pass by Botany Town Centre, I make it a point to stop over at Kiwi Yo for a quick snack. The main thing I like about this is the entire yogurt experience, the place is clean, the staff are friendly, and the atmosphere is really laid back and casual. The yogurts are top notch with plenty of variety and changing flavours and the ingredients are always tasty fresh, from the fruit toppings to the nut bits, it all taste fresh! The little photo machine is also fun to play around as you can tag yourself on the Facebook. If you ever find yourself in Botany Town Centre, come here and give these guys a go. It's a great change of pace from just regular ice cream.
