Hotel De Brett is a historic Auckland building that has undergone a transformation to become a stylish and eclectic place to be. If you want to stay right in the centre of the fashion district thus is the right place. The High street hotel has a beautiful atrium where I have heard the luscious Caitlin Smith perform. The singer has a regular Sunday jazz performance here which is a must- do! The wine selection is good and the bar and restaurant are nice for a visit. The fire is always stoked in winter and them in summer you get the light pouring through the glass in the atrium. Stunning!
