Hotel DeBrett

Cute Boutique Hotel in the Heart of downtown Auckland

We're Aucklanders, but went to stay for a night away from our young one. I'd previously been into the House Bar, which is a good little escape from the central city streets for a drink or cocktail in stylish surrounds.

We were immediately impressed with our room, it was clean, minimalist, but with everything you could need for an enjoyable night away from home. Despite being right down town it seemed really quiet in the room, and it was comfortable and luxurious, which was what we'd hoped for.

I've stayed in a few places in central Auckland, and there's a glut of very average hotels which cost too much for what they are. While Hotel DeBrett is expensive, it delivered for us, and we got what we saw on the wrapper!
