There’s only the boardwalk and a bit of grass between you and the sea. Bring your togs, bikes, skates along and you will be in heaven. You won’t go hungry because there are many dining options and takeaways in the village of Ahuriri, only a few minutes walk away. The marina and West Quay are five-ten minutes walk, where there’s plenty of room to throw a line in, or just pass the time watching the fishing boats.
