I'm not a petrol head - but that's not to say I don't love watching a bit of speed. Dad turned 50 last year, so my brother and sister and I got him a few laps in a flash Aston Martin round and round the Hampton Downs race track. He absolutely loved it! He also got a video of his drive, and a framed photo too - feedback was it made him feel like James Bond.

        Around forty minutes’ drive from the city,Hampton Downs MotorSport Park is the home of driving legends, but that doesn’t mean you can’t come to stay and play too. They have regular public driving days where you can book in a few laps here and there, as well as racing experiences available depending on your badge of choice. A voucher for a trip around the track in a Lotus, Ferrari or Lamborghini makes for a great gift for the speed freaks in your life too, and definitely won’t go unused.

          Really enjoyed the day on the track.
