Hammer Hardware is synonymous with Kiwis achieving greatness when it comes to DIY and this particular branch in Dominion Road is the kind of locally owned establishment that deserves support. No matter what you need to do around your home, this store will have the products you need from weed sprayers to kitchen equipment to screws, nails and a wide-range of tools.

      This store has got it all. Whenever I need something quick I know where to go: here! The prices may not be as low as a big chain but I feel a bit better keeping the money local. The employees are always willing to help me find what I'm looking for as well.

        hammer hardware dominion road is a real treasure and every time , that is every time I have been into this store the staff have been very friendly and traditional nice to deal with . The prices are very faiir , some times a little more but so so handy , just a walk away and no car required . I like to go in and do the man thing :window cleaner , a broom , a paint brushand other bloke things like nails etc . Completely up to date but sort of a traditional new zealand hardware .

          I quite often pop into Hammer Hardware. Sure, it's nothing like a Bunnings or a Mitre Ten, but it's only 5 minutes walk away, and has most of the stuff I need at short notice, like an odd shaped screwdriver or a few random fixings. The staff are really nice. They've actually got a pretty decent selection of gardening stuff which is handy.
