Good deals on Vino! Nice staff also.

    I’m not a hugely experienced wine drinker so it’s useful to know that at Glengarrys they’ve got a panel of experts looking out for you. The top ten section, compiled by Glengarry’s wine tasters, is a perfect guide for helping you to decide on what wine is ideal for whatever you need it for!

      Glengarry Ponsonby has a great selection of wines including delectable offerings from Central Otago (always my go to) as well as a huge range of wines from Marlborough, Nelson, Hawkes Bay and the rest of the NZ plus Aussie's finest and some French and Italian's for good measure. They are currently featuring Spanish wines instore and there are often good specials on champagnes. Also there is a superior range of craft beers, both local and international, and liqueurs and spirits. 

        People in need of a bottle of wine or a six-pack of beer for a meal out, a quiet night at home or a dinner party with friends, are well served by this local Ponsonby stalwart. Glengarrys Ponsonby offers a good selection and the service is friendly and obliging.

            Glengarry is right in the heart of Ponsonby, perfect for picking up a bottle of wine on your way to dinner. Great wine selection, prices don't compare to supermarkets but that's what you pay for convenience. They do have good deals on nice wines though.  

              Glengarry's can be counted on for finding the perfect match for the special dinner you're preparing. The staff have excellent knowledge and can advise on a choice based on your preferences...or as in my case if you're a complete amateur at this sort of thing!

                Many times I haven't forgotten to buy a bottle of wine to take a friend's for potluck dinner. Luckily, this Glengarry is right in the heart of Ponsonby for such situations. The shop staff usually has a decent knowledge of wines to recommend in order to impress your friends. Can be a bit expensive compared to the supermarket though.
