The Baileys cheesecake at Frasers is probably one of the better cheesecakes I've tasted so far in cafes. I guess it's cause they are known for their cakes right? The texture was light and creamy yet still retained the richness of a cheesecake. The taste of bailey comes through but does not punch the lights out of you. The base was delicious and crunchy. It came with a small serving of yoghurt with compliments the richness by cutting through it making it less of an effort to down the generous slice. It isn't the cheapest round $7.50 for a slice, but you can taste the quality of the ingredients and it is far greater in portion than Milse.
On those nights you want to skip the bars, restaurants and just grab a bite and hot chocolate somewhere, Frasers Cafe & Espresso Bar hits the spot. The cosy Mt Eden local does full meals all day long, and their desserts are primo. No vino, hence the hot chocolate, but it still has a lively atmosphere.
