I always passed this place on the way to work, and just happened to stroll in one day when I managed to use my eye twitch to convince my boss that I needed to finish early due to 'mental strain'. Somehow he got that confused with menstrual pain and practically pushed me out of the elevator. Oh well, time off is time off so I didn't complain. Thank God/Allah/Buddha/Oak tree that I did pop in because I found my caramel peanut slice that I had missed since moving away from Hawkes Bay. Y-U-M-M-Y! I bought a bacon and egg slice for a treat later, no disappointment there! I will be back for my slice - damn you!

Wow! That is pretty much my reaction when tasting their triple shot flat white. Thick and creamy with great flavour, it was one of the most memorable cups of coffee I have had the pleasure of having. They have a wide range of savoury delights to tuck into that complement the coffee. Wonderful place! Stop by for a flat white, you won't regret it.

if you want some really good cakes, dont want to spend a lot and have people laud you for it, then grab a cake today from eves pantry. i've tried their black forest cake and everyone loved it. It is really nice, not too expensive as some of the other cake shops and is economical on the wallet too.

When looking to have business meetings or catch-ups with mates, we look no further than Eve´s Pantry on Elliott Street. What used to be an incredible china shop on the corner is now replaced with tasty treats that although are a bit pricy, are worth every cent. We visited yesterday and had a delicious lamington, which we tried to prolong by taking small bites. Sitting inside to enjoy your purchase is always a good idea, so we recommend you sit upstairs to take in the morning or afternoon sun. Personable staff and speedy service.  What can we say? Our kind of local really.

Going to Eve's is a real treat as the range of cakes they have on offer far exceeds most bakeries. Many of the delectable desserts are presented particularly well, making them perfect for meetings or to impress. They also have a range of larger cakes should you need to cater to a birthday, though get there early or pre-order as they can sell out by 3pm. Staff are generally pleasant here, though sometimes they can be a little slow in serving. As they do it with a smile, you can generally forgive them! My favourite: Chocolate Cube - it's definitely not good for you but it's delicious!

Localist did! Thanks to the ‘nearby’ feature I now know that there’s an Eve’s Pantry just a few minutes walk from work! Goodbye cafe cabinet muffin, hello tasty fresh pastry! Every Eves Pantry I’ve been to has been a delight, and this one’s no exception. A little hard to spot as you heave your way up or tumble down Victoria Street they’re well worth a small detour. The baking is all fresh and if you haven’t had one of their custard fruit tarts yet you’re missing out on one of the finest experiences around. Guaranteed to help dispel some of those Monday Blues!
