Having spent my whole childhood enjoying that classic 'night out' at the movies, I'm happy to say that Event Cinemas Whangarei live up to that age old standard. I recently wen't to see one of the latest block busters with a group of friends. We were all blown away by the awesome new range of hot snacks and cool beverages. Ranging from mixed roasted nuts, the classic popcorn, hot dogs and even a selection of wines and beers! If you ever get rained in or just want to enjoy a great night out, definitely check this place out.

    Rainy days can make everyone a little bit cabin crazy. Fortunately the cinemas always save the day! The Whangarei Events Cinemas always have at least one awesome kids movie to keep the little ones occupied. Depending on their age you could even drop them off there and have a few gorgeous hours mooching around town by yourself.

      The slick experience you’ve come to expect from the major players in the cinema business, with all the latest releases, goodies and 3D. For a laidback meal beforehand, try the Killer Prawn restaurant a short walk away. I need a bib just thinking about the Seafood Orzo Paella. Mmm…
