A little about us
Ripe Deli came into being six years ago when Kiwi-born-but-English-raised Angela Redfern decided that Grey Lynn and Ponsonby had a deli shaped hole in it.
Angie’s philosophy is simple: she believes in offering fresh, quality, healthy food that is good value for money. With a little bit of creativity, Angie and the team in the kitchen add an innovative touch to traditional recipes. Not even mum can cook a better smoked-fish pie or serve up a more mouth-watering bread and butter pudding!

Ripe makes me #feelgood because it is walking distance from home which encourages me to get out and get exercise (when it's not raining) and they have such a wide variety of delicious and healthy options that they can satisfy any one person's cravings.

Probably my favourite healthy-eating spot in the city. This place is packed every single day, and for good reason! Ripe offers a wide range of healthy, vegetarian and vegan choices and now you can even buy their cookbook to recreate the meals on your own. Don’t leave without trying their quinoa cookies!
