Design Cartel is a small boutique located in Wellington’s CBD. Design Cartel is a collaboration of local New Zealand designers selling clothing, jewellery, accessories, home wares and artwork.

We have over 20 designers featuring in the store with a wide selection of goodies.

Design Cartel was started by Abigail Moir who is the creative designer behind Wellington fashion label Miss Abigail.

Everything in the shop is made in New Zealand. So support your local designers by coming into our store today.

    Local designers, crafters and artist meet in this one beautiful Boutique in the heart of Wellington. If you need to go Oh LA LA, this is the place to shop:)

      Design. Lots of support for local makers.  How can you not love them?

        Sweetest boutique in a lovely new location. Design Cartel is filled of character and stocks the best made in NZ goodies! 

          I cannot express how much I love Design Cartel and all of the amazingly beautiful pieces they have in store. I could honestly spend hours upon hours just browsing through their gorgeous little boutique store, and marvelling at the creativity behind some of their pieces. The Hannah Claire clothing make me  get back into the gym, cause I know I'll look better in that beautiful dress if only I were two sizes smaller! The beautiful capes and coats that Highnoontea sell are enough to make me just BEG for a rainy day, and the really sweet, delicate necklaces by White Rabbit Designs are so gorgeous, I need a bigger jewellery holder!!  If you haven't been into Design Cartel yet, it's a definite must. If you love one-off, beautiful items that not every single person you know, is wearing - then Design Cartel is the way to go! 

            Love supporting designers who are local and kiwi. No big brands here just fresh gorgeous ideas and lovely gifts. When you don't want the look that everybody has got this is the darling place to go.

                  I could browse for hours, in this beautifully presented little shop, full of things to delight. There's fabulous dresses, tops, pants,coats, scarves, made with amazing colours and luxuriously rich to silky fabrics, uniquely individual designs, NZ made, with a quality  finish.  Great  purses, bags, hats, books, jewelry, art...... something  for everyone, plus... lovely friendly staff ! Its a must see when ever you are in Wellington. :)
