Very colourful and just a little chaotic, this cafe is my favourite place to go with friends when out in Pukekoe. Absolutely love the posters plastered on every inch of available wall, wherever we sit, we end up turning our heads and chairs to take everything in. Also, their iced chocolates are really good.
I'm not surprised so many people have raved about this place. Yup owners Elton and Stu are very accommodating. Each brownie or caesar salad or soup (they're big on soup) is like a work of art. The wait staff / baristas always seem very happy in their jobs. No surprise they've expanded yet again, with another shop front on King St. Go hard, Kaos.
Elton and Stuart. They are so much fun and Elton's sense of humor is all his own. Ask him if you can see his cucumber. If you are lucky you may get to hold it as well. The food is fantastic. The salads are particularly good to take to a party if you need a plate and don't have time to organize one. It was a sad day when Kaos left Tuakau. If I win a $250 dinner I will spend it here..... #shoutme
If you are out in South Auckland and want to spend your Saturday afternoon chilling out in a queer friendly little cafe then Pukekohe’s retro themed Cafe Kaos is just the place. The two owners are absolutely gorgeous and will look after you well. Check out their movie nights if you are wanting to find something to do on a night out in the country.
