Burger Wisconsin - Mairangi Bay

My local gourmet burger joint, and home to some awesome slices of meaty goodness. There's fair few of these around, so it's easy to find some burger heaven in your neck of the woods. There's a full range of chicken as well as beef options, plus others (like vegetarian). Must try: Venison & Otago plum.

I came here as I had a good experience at the one in Ponsonby. The young girls behind the grill were quite flustered with orders and we got told a 10 min wait. Sure 10mins to wait - no problem ..............it turned into half an hour!!! Oh dear!!  One girl apologised for the wait.  Another dropped an onion ring on ground ...I dont think that got replaced.   To top off this waste of time I got home and my order was wrong and luke warm!!!  Wow!! Dont think ill be back!

A friend of mine who works here introduced me to this burger chain. It was a genuine rave. The burgers are a bit pricier than the fast takeaways but much more hearty- with huge bread buns and big juicy well cooked meat and packed with salad and sauce. It was delicious. Well recommended if you don't mind spending a bit more money on a quality burger. Very satisfying!

these burgers are full of greatness! yummy n very filling, it’s a great option for lunch or dinner on the beach! We can recommend the beef, bacon n avocado - n the chicken, bacon n avocado with cheese n pineapple added :) staff were friendly n service fast! will definitely be back!

I’m trying to cut down on takeaway food but when we do treat ourselves, Burger Wisconsin is our first choice. Before we had kids, it was great to be able to grab a yummy burger and sit on Mairangi Bay beach to eat it (and we’ll do that again when the kids are older). At the Mairangi Bay branch they’re always pretty quick, too.

My favorite is a Beef Satay burger and a little baggie of fries. Makes me a happy bugger.
