Better Quality Pies 2000 is popular bakery, best known for its delicious pies. Talented baker Tai Khau is a frequent winner at the annual Bakels New Zealand Supreme Pie Awards, this year scooping the gold medal for his chicken pie. With all the old favourites and some more unusual fillings, treat yourself to their delicious seafood pie stuffed with king prawns, scallops, squid and white sauce.
They also sell sandwiches, slices, biscuits and pre-made occasion cakes, or talk to the friendly team about a custom made cake.

When my family in Wellington heard that I was in Rotorua, they put there order in for pies from BQP’s. Yep, they’re just that good!! So I am now charged with getting all these bundles of deliciousness back down the island. (I fear there may be some casualties along the way!)

    Come to Aussie. We left Rotos 5 yrs ago and nothing compares to your pies. My fave were chicken and mushroom .. Bacon and egg and your donuts and ginger crunch.

      These guys make a really yum, authetic seafood pie. It's stuffed with king prawns, squid, and scallops combined in a creamy white sauce that's seasoned just right. It's a massive portion size too, so a good one to share between two people.

        These guys have AMAZING pies at a great price. They even took out the 2013 Bakels New Zealand Supreme Pie Award with their chunky chicken, vegetable and creamy white sauce pie. Get there now and check out what all the fuss is about!
