Summer’s up and the heats on. What better place to hang out than at one of The Mount’s best brew bar with its interesting craft beers, great vibe and retro fit-out.

I went here on a Friday and a Saturday night and this place was amazing! The atmosphere is so incredible and i loved the vintage 70's theme. The music was great and the staff were friendly and efficient! I also went here on the following Sunday for lunch and Oh My GOSH the food was so good! I got a burger and it was huge and so yummy! Pretty gourmet and you could actually taste the beer in the beer battered chips which i loved because so many restaurants say 'beer-battered' but they taste like normal chips. Great service and omgosh i love this place. Please go on a Friday night and have a few drinks in the summer time. Best experience on Mount Maunganui!

I love Astroblabe it has a great atmosphere and really friendly staff I always feel at home. They make the best beer battered chips in Tauranga even my elderly mum loves it. Plus it has great beer. Its casual style you can just go in after a day at the beach and whoever you are with enjoys it as well as there are so many different areas and a kids love it too. The retro fit is great brings back many happy memories.

This place is more than just a great bar... it also offered sweet as food and a crazy array of fun events. They have wicked nights such as quizzes, ping pong, live music etc. You never know what you're gonna get here! ...except of course great drinks, food and an awesome time!

Delicious non alcoholic options for a non drinker makes a great bar in my books! Great decor and a pumping vibe make it pretty much perfect.
