An army surplus store, for the survivalist. Vintage soviet army gloves, full netted camo outfits, insane fluro, solid camping goods, boots, and nun chucks.

Right on K’Rd is one of my favourite shops - Kiwi Disposals. From perfectly worn in army shirts, the best black knit beanies in town to utilitarian grey army blankets, which incidentally make great curtains and other soft furnishings.

So many useful things-QUALITY!

With a vast collection of clothing and collectables it is well worth having a look often to see what is new in store. A one stop shop for almost anything camouflage.

Great place to go if you are a collector or just need some paint ball gear. They have new and used gear. Choose carefully as unfortunately we found out they do not exchange.

I had my receipt but was still refused :-)

This place is an absolute treasure trove of army gears. You can get some incredible clothing - in particular amazing wool socks, interesting t-shirts, and the best quality jackets you can find. Also available are badges (look really cool and can also be great on kids costumes if you have a mini Action Man in your midst), ammo cases, tool boxes and all sorts of other outdoor equipment. You don't necessarily need to be an army enthusiast or an outdoor nut to find something you like here either - a lot of stuff can be modified into fashion items or stylish homewares (probably wouldn't tell them your plans though). Oh, and definitely remember the socks.
