An increasing number of users are becoming more and more concerned at the lack of parking space around the ferry terminal at Half Moon Bay.
The problem has been the subject of site meetings between Auckland Transport and the Howick Local Board.
Issues surrounding safety and the future of the Half Moon Bay ferry terminal have been at the centre of the discussions.
So far it has been agreed that a more integrated approach is needed toward the management and development of the area.
However, because of immediate and pressing need, the board is still concerned to acquire more parking space now rather than waiting on the completion of an overall development plan for the area.
