"Rug up warm and head out East to Paradice Ice for some romantic skating action. OK so maybe not romantic but definitely fun and a little out of the ordinary here in snow-free Auckland. Always a good way to start a date and then head out for hot chocolates at your favourite cafe afterwards to warm up again. Smooth."
" My fiancé took me to botany ice rink 4 years ago on our first date, had sooo much fun that 4 years later we are getting married. Thanks paradice for a perfect first date to a life of happiness :) "

"Great center highly recommended, wonderful resources and very flexible. Highly appreciated!! The Jacobs Family xxx"
" My 2 and a half year old daughter has been attending Little Moas for the past 4 months. We chose Little Moas because of their diverse cultures, friendly staff, affordable pricing and convenient location. The teachers helped with settling her into the center, which was reassuring for me while I was at work. At the same time my daughter was toilet training and they also helped with that. Now she can't wait to go to Little Moas and doesn't want to leave at the end of the day! Little Moas use the Educa online system so you get weekly updates of what your little one has been up to, photos and the ability to talk with their assigned teacher. The admin staff are reliable and quickly respond to any queries you may have. They also have Playball on Tuesdays which is another great opportunity for children to learn and grow. I would definitely recommend them to anyone look for childcare in this area!"

"I've had one child go through and another there at the moment and both my kids have loved it. It's very well managed and that sets the tone for the whole place with the whole vibe being friendly, relaxed but well run. The oldest started school this year and I felt she was ahead on day one, both both socially and academically and that was due to Rockabye. Can't recommend enough!"
" My son goes to rockabye and i am fully impressed with everything they do and provide there, they are very well looked after, always lots for the kids to do, the staff are amazing and they are always there to help. they have a wonderful system that involves families alot and they are all round an amazing place. I would reccomend them to anyone looking for high quality, fun, caring child care!"

"Kids bouncing off the walls? Take them to Jump where doing so is not only safe and fun, but encouraged! As the country's first indoor trampoline park, there's something to fit every skill, fitness level and age group. Let off some steam and and have some fun!"

"Great playland especially for under 5s. it is usually not very busy so that is an added bonus. Very clean and pretty big."
" Tin tin Playground and cafe makes an enjoyable trip out if you have a small child. Our playgroup went there for our end of term trip and all the children and adults had an enjoyable time. The entry fees are $5.50 for 1 year olds, $6:50 for 2-4 year olds and $9 for 5-12 year olds. (Adults and under 1s are free). It is very clean and tidy, with a bouncy castle, trampoline, ball pit and lots of great adventure playground equipment suitable for young children. The cafe is also reasonably priced. Tintin also do birthdays and have a variety of packages available."

"As I was in the area, a friend and I decided to check out one of the other Drama Queen classes. I arrived at 9.45am to discover the teacher setting up ride on's and bikes outside, cleaning toilets and sweeping floors. As the yard filled with kids and parents she grabbed a cup of tea and watched the kids play, at 10.30 the music went on and the singing and dancing started. The kids enjoyed three of the activities from Drama Queens [no costumes] along with action songs and after morning tea the kids escaped outside to a large selection of bikes and ride on's we left at midday very informal set up but good value and a rarity in Auckland there was plenty of parking. "I don't have the best memory but I can remember visiting the wonderful Tip Top factory during my primary school years. It was a great, informative tour about how to make ice-cream (the whole process); got to see the staff in action and the machines they use. It was a lot of fun (seeing behind the scenes) and at the end, the ice-cream treat. Would really love to go again now, when I'm a bit older and will actually fully understand what they mean by pasteurisation!"
