"This beach beauty is ALWAYS packed with people! Tried the salted caramel, marshmallow, choc ice cream design delight and it was really good. Different flavors were definitely having a party in your mouth. A bit on the pricy side but a little treat is every now and then doesn’t hurt. You’re worth it, as Loréal says! :)"
"This is the best place to go to after your beach walk. The ice cream here is delicious and the atmosphere is always lively. I always like to grab an ice cream and sit on the decking outside, admiring the beach and Rangitoto views."

"I love Cosset because it’s so very cosy and inviting. It’s super close to me so I love to walk down with my laptop under my arm and perch under some of their great art work and feel inspired. Free wifi. Great coffee. Excellent time."

"My pick hands down for the best ‘new’ Vietnamese in Auckland, Hanoi has impeccable service, interesting and tasty dishes and a cocktail list to make the mouth water. As far as I know you still can’t book, but the light at the end of what can be a lengthy tunnel on a busy night is well worth the wait."

"Soul Bar & Bistro is one of those establishments that feels like it has been around forever, and it pretty much has. It was one of the early spots to open on Viaduct Harbour and is still one if the best, with great bar staff, table service and cuisine. It also makes for great people spotting on a sunny afternoon, so if you have visitors with you from out of town it will never disappoint."

"This is one of the best dishes I've had for brunch. Instead of the usual eggs Benedict i do recommend giving this dish a go. I certainly was happily surprised by how well seasoned it was.The meatballs were juicy and flavourful, sitting in the herbaceous tomato sauce. Perfectly paired with hot Turkish bread to soak up the rich egg yolk with the balancing acidic sauce."
"The atmosphere here is really laid back, making it a great place to unwind after a long week. The affordable drinks prices are great for those on a budget, and there’s an interesting selection of cocktails to choose from."

"With a name like "The Fridge Cafe" I just had to check this place out! It's choice as mate :D Pie changes you. :D"
"I have only ever eaten pies from this place. The best. Everyone who has been here will tell you that everything is great but I am strictly pies, my favourite from here is the steak and mozzarella. I actually don’t think there is anything else that needs to be said here, it all really speaks for itself. STEAK.AND.MOZZARELLA. Oh, apart from that it is slightly on the pricey side but you cannot put a price on a STEAK AND MOZZARELLA PIE. Capitals necessary to exentuate my enthusiasm."

"Really nice relaxing vibe at this cafe. If you are a little the worse for ware on a Sunday, I recommend the boiled egg with five grain toast soldiers! Nice and gentle for your tummy! I love that their breakfasts come on bread boards and everything comes with lots of real butter. Yum!"
"Get in early to nab a good table and set up shop to enjoy their amazing brews + wifi. Perfect place for getting a wee bit ‘o work done or have an internet reliant business meeting!"

"Been there about 4 times in just 3 months now, and have never been disappointed! Their chicken club sanwich burger is made with whole chicken breast fillet, with lots of salad and sauce so its not too dry. Their burgers are also quite big so you're always really full by the time you finish. Combo was $10 which came with refillable drink and skin-on fries, which is better than paying $16+ at Burger Fuel for pretty much the same thing. Their portobello mushroom burger is really good too, which really gave what the name suggests- heaps of mushrooms in the burger! Haven't tried their breakfast menu but heard its pretty good. Their cookies and cream thickshake is my favourite though! "
"Of all the major chain burger joints, Carl's Jr stands out head and shoulders above the rest. The burgers are big enough to suit any appetite, and there's a good range of different options. Always popular, check it out. Must try: Jim Beam Bourbon Burger (comes with bacon, onion straws, and tasty bourbon sauce)."

"Vibrant food, vigorous spices and tantalizing tastes culminate in plethora of platters with the freshest seafood thrown in for good measure. The intimacy of the wine and drinks list allow your senses to be captivated by food alone."
"There’s a reason this place is always jam packed. Chef Al Brown’s attention to detail and emphasis on good customer service makes Depot an all round great experience. They don’t do reservations but you can put your name on a waiting list. The staff have always been lovely and food is delicious. Highly reccomend the turbot sliders, fig toasties and sugar pie."
"The boyfriend and I come here so often that we have our Depot strategy sorted - a couple of freshly-shucked oysters each, followed by a couple of small plates (sliders usually feature), one large plate and a side of potato skins, all washed down with a carafe of their tap wine. Get in early or be prepared to wait, but know that it’s totally worth it!"
