"For those lazy summer days, you can’t go wrong with a trip out to Hallertau. Huge plates of ribs, massive pots of mussels, and their beer tasting rack is awesome (although the Number 1 is the best). It’s newly renovated too, so it feels like you’re drinking directly under the brewing vats. Check it out!"

"“I’ve lived and breathed real estate in the North West area for an age and I’ve found the best deals have been where there’s the right people, the right finance and the right property. This is where Mike Pero is unique. It’s about connections and linking these components together to make the process easy, transparent and cost effective. Mike Pero Real Estate and Mike Pero Mortgages working together provides the obvious solution and can make the buying or selling of real estate easier. If you’re selling we can have your home ‘Finance Assessed’ so when it goes to the market buyers know there’s a mortgage broker readily available. I’d love to help you sell your home and under Mike Pero Real Estate we are offering some unbeatable options"

"Staff are awesome. The food is amazing and is a big hit if you like watching ducks chill out . Nice atmosphere and worth every cent"
"Gorgeous views, quiet spot and family friendly to with kids area in one of the carriages. Great for business catch ups, brunch out with friends or lunch with the family too"
"When I can be bothered heading out west for breakfast I like to head to Carriages. Located in the heart of the Kumeu Wine Country it’s a picturesque cafe dishing up some seriously tasty grab. The coffee is good and I would recommend the savoury hot cakes that is served with crispy bacon, raspberry compote, banana and lashings of maple syrup. The venue styled from a classic 1930’s European train station even has a train carriage that you can eat in!"

"Can’t wait to go back again! I love this place, the menu is really really interesting and varied and you’re bound to find something you haven’t tried before. The plates are smaller and made for sharing so you can try loads (which is kinda the idea). The wine list is nice and substantial so if you’re coming from the city you’ll need to sweet talk someone into sober driving or if you’re smart organise a group of 8 or more and they will pick you up in a courtesy van and drop you home later on."

"What a great way to end a morning visit to the NEW Hobsonville Point community. Catalina Cafe is a bright and cheerful cafe that serves delicious home made brunches and lunches with a delectable array of sweet treats, cakes, scones to tempt you and even ice-cream cones for the kids. They have an amazing selection of cakes, wraps, sandwiches, pizzas and they even cater for folk who are gluten intolerant. You won't be able to resist the al fresco dining with live music, a place to rest while the kids play. They've even got a cosy, dining-room/lounge inside, perfect for those that prefer their tea in comfort. Catalina is right next door to the Hobsonville Point Farmers Market and a short drive to Auckland's newest wharf and ferry service. "

"Sarah, was fantastic. Facilitating the sale, very diligent. Approachable with excellent people skills. Juggling the different needs of both Vendor and purchaser."
" 15 properties sold successfully speaks for itself. Steve has a great personality, he listens and communicates well. He gets things done in a timely manner and always returns calls promptly. I would certainly recommend Steve to anyone looking to buy or sell."
" We met Sarah Bickerstaffe through a mutual friend and she came and gave us an appraisal on our house when we decided to look for a larger property. We had always thought real estate agents charged way too much and did very little. People either like your house or not. A couple of weeks later Sarah rang to advise she had a new listing that might be what we were looking for. She was right. Sarah arranged with the vendor to allow us time to sell our house before she would market the property, so then had the task of selling our house in this time frame. Open homes in the rain in the middle of winter did not stop Sarah and she soon found us a purchaser for our house. Our purchaser wanted a long settlement. How Sarah and Andrew Widdup managed to get all three parties to agree to the conditions amazed us, and a few months later we are all moved and very happy. Through all of our dealings with Sarah we found her forthright and honest. She kept us well informed with how both properties were progressing and found answers to all of the 'problems' and her powers of negotiation are first rate.We would happily recommend Sarah as an agent, she has changed our impressions on real estate agents. Thank you Sarah, Andrew and Ray White for all of your help in finding us our perfect family home."

"I enjoy coming to this Kings Plant Barn. I can always get what I need for the garden and grab a coffee there too before I head back to do battle with the garden. The staff are always helpful and I find the prices are reasonable too. I'm not the most attentive gardener and yet my plants from here have done really well."
"What’s not to love about this place! Surrounded by gorgeous plants and stunning local art work ( which you may purchase if you so choose) ! There breakfast was just delightful and a generous portion as well."
" The staff at this Plant Barn are always really wonderful - they go out of their way to help. I am a novice gardener so can use any help I can get! Its a bit of a busy intersection now with the new Warehouse and Supermarket going in there, but still a great place to go if, like me, you could use the advise!"

"Delicious pizza, lovingly made by Colin and Monica and cooked in a real wood-fired oven. Sooo good! Worth the drive to Huapai/Kumeu even if you don't live there! "
" The best freshest pizza ever! and great service with a smile. Our local pizza happens to be the best in the world"
