"Milk & cookies. Every kids favourite. Just up from Civic Theatre. All kinds of delicious cookies to wash down with a milk shake or hot chocolate."
"If you work in Auckland City and need an afternoon treat, this is the place to go! I am addicted to these cookies, especially the snickers or peanut butter ones. Also love keeping an eye out on Facebook for their cookie of the week... they come up with some amazing creations."

"A fantastic indoor venue for all ages. Birthdays, team building or just great upper body exercise. Not for the faint hearted!"
"We were here for a kids birthday party and it worked very well to keep them occupied, tire them out and leave very little cleaning work afterwards. I didn’t climb this time around but after seeing the fun being had I wished I’d brought proper shoes. Clip ‘n Climb provides a very imaginative climbing environment - there’s a slide where people get hoisted up, a ring of taller and taller posts to walk up (and it goes very high), there’s a transparent wall where you can match a friend as they climb. There is also a corner where you can climb in the dark or with some disco lights for an extra challenge. I’d like to go back for my own birthday!"
935 Mount Eden Road, Three Kings, Auckland 1024
"This well known eatery is up in Mt Eden. Well known for their artwork, french toast and more. With Big King Reserve nearby, Orvieto is a well known dog-friendly destination. Outdoor seating and always a waterbowl on hand for your pooch."

" Vector tends to host most of the large international bands when they tour and is a great, spacious venue with plenty of good seating, if you get in early enough, and tons of standing in the main arena if you feel like dancing. It is a well oiled machine so getting in and out is a piece of cake - prepare to queue for drinks however! I've recently seen the Manic Street Preachers and The Stone Roses there, both great gigs and the sound was excellent."

"Really nice relaxing vibe at this cafe. If you are a little the worse for ware on a Sunday, I recommend the boiled egg with five grain toast soldiers! Nice and gentle for your tummy! I love that their breakfasts come on bread boards and everything comes with lots of real butter. Yum!"
"Love shaky isles food! All of it is like a work of art! Service can be a bit hit and miss- nice enough folk but sometimes they can be quite lost if the cafes busier than usual. Would highly recommend this place though - their food is to die for."

"I won 2 passes to the event through Localist. My boyfriend and I had a brilliant time! We checked in with the Localist Kombi van and were given our VIP passes, bags and a free t-shirt. From there we headed over to the Audi VIP room for our free glass of bubbly and straight back out again to see Gary Rhodes. There was a great assortment of food and drink available, some of which I recognised from Oratia's Farmers Market. We spent $100 at the event and came home with all sorts of fabulous goodies; Manuka Gold, Manuka Smoked Salt, Wild Pork Sausages, Ginger Crunch, Peanut Butter and of course the obligatory wine glasses. I was most upset that mine said Carlton Events rather than Taste of NZ but you can't always have everything :) We ended our evening watching Rick Stein with a glass of Matua Savvy. We will definitely be back next year."
" we went early in the day and it was not busy at all, really nice to have a stroll around and eat eat eat:)"
" Thanks Localist for the free VIP tickets. We went to the 5.30pm session and sampled some very fine food & drink. Got a few tasty treats to bring home as well. Particularly liked the Europeans meats (we bought a few of those), and the many different types of infused olive oils. Add the divine piquant dukkah we got and lunch the next day was sublime. A well run event well worth the visit."

"Shaky Isles in Britomart have only recently added gourmet pies to their menu and they are absolutely delicious. My favourite would have to be the beef cheek pie, closely followed by the Chicken and mushroom."
"I want to marry this place. Their pikelets with bacon and banana are amazing, and very reasonably priced. It has a really great atmosphere too, with really friendly staff. The coffee is gooooood and it’s right next to all the bus stops, so you don’t need to worry about parking. Definitely worth a visit for brunch this (or every) weekend."
Viaduct Harbour, Viaduct Harbour, Auckland 1010
"Soul Bar & Bistro is one of those establishments that feels like it has been around forever, and it pretty much has. It was one of the early spots to open on Viaduct Harbour and is still one if the best, with great bar staff, table service and cuisine. It also makes for great people spotting on a sunny afternoon, so if you have visitors with you from out of town it will never disappoint."

"Simon and Nick have just finished doing a renovation to my 1910's bungalow, removing a wall and chimney to create a large open living space. They were brilliant at communicating throughout the process, and made the whole experience wierdly quite enjoyable :) Their advice and worksmanship was top notch, and as a result i'm totally stoked with the outcome. (And that's coming from a bit of a perfectionist) They were also able to suggest great subbies for the other bits (electrical, plastering, floors etc), who were all equally well priced, top notch and trustworthy, which made the whole process so much easier. If you're after great quality, well priced builders who you can trust, you can't go past Simon and Nick! Thanks boys! I'll call you for the ensuite ;)"
" Simon & Nick have just completed our house extension. A 50m extension with a lot of internal changes to the existing house. They were fantastic to work with with a great work ethic and craftsmanship. Work was completed on time and within the price range they indicated. If you are looking for a reliable local builder these are your guys. They also have a great sub trade team who were all equally as reliable as Simon & Nick. Would not hesitate to use these guys again for future building projects. cheers guys"
" I would just like to say a very big thank you to Simon and Nick from Eden builders. They have done an incredible job with our new deck and have gone the extra mile on every detail. The end result has far surpassed our expectations and during the journey, they have always been on standby to answer my multitude of questions. It's great to see kiwi guys doing what they love in an ever-changing market. Intend to recommend to everyone I know and didn't want the wider community to miss out on working with such awesome guys. Thanks again guys. Cant wait till summer till enjoy our new deck."

"With the holidays well over and having had so much time around the house i had collated a massive mound of rubbish. I'd never used Junk Run, preferring skip bins so i was a bit anxious. The lady on the phone patiently went through everything with me, which set my mind at ease. the next day a bright green truck showed up, with two eager men ready to take my rubbish. Anthony helped with some great recycling ideas, which enabled him to REDUCE the cost for me. Finally an honest, reliable, trustworthy company. No more skip bins for me, i'll be calling junk run from now on!!! Thanks heaps guys"
" So pleased I decided to go with 0800-Junk-Run. Their friendly team turned up when they said they would and were so quick and thorough. They even gave my son a wee children's gardening kit that was recycling depot bound/collected from a previous job. He was delighted. I really like their philosophy of recycling as much as possible. They also gave good advice on how to reuse some big containers we had. I would definitely recommend them and use them again."
