"The Bread and Butter Letter have relocated to K Rd, and the new store looks great! Still stocking a tasteful array of accessories, vintage clothing and gift items, make this your go-to when you need a little something for yourself, or anyone else."
Cnr Darby & Queen Sts, Auckland Central, Auckland 1141
"Pictured is a pile of clothing in the CBD's recycle boutique waiting to be sorted through. Who knows what might be in those bags, perhaps it's just a whole lot of Ed Hardy cast offs or perhaps it's a bag full of vintage treasure! That's the best thing about Recycle Boutique - you never quite know what you're coming to come across. There's a great selection of men and woman's pre-loved clothing and accessories to pick from although it may take a while to find the treasure. About four years ago I picked up a great duffel coat there, and it's still a staple today. Definitely worth a browse."
"Recycle boutique is a great place to find some affordable pieces for your wardrobe. Be prepared to spend some time rifling through the racks, but it's often rewarding! My best bargain was an emerald green topshop dress for $4.50!"
Shop CA.1.04b, Victoria Park Market, Victoria Street West, Auckland Central, Auckland 1010
" I imagine a beautiful lady who is decorated with dress, hand bag and other accessories coming from this shop."
11 Mt Eden Road, Grafton, Auckland 1024
"I Love Ugly has premium style for the suave modern man down! The eye of the designer here is super sharp, the details are always really considered. The prints they use are dope, especially love the trippy vibes of the mushroom one, and the embroidered grizzly bear pants and sweater for this season."
4 High Street, Auckland Central, Auckland 1010
"One of my friends at high school wore a Crane Brother's suit to our school ball. Another of my friends recently got married wearing Crane Brother's threads. What did these guys have in common? They looked pretty dam suave. Crane Brother's is known as Auckland's premier tailor, the cuts are sleek and well fitted. The suits are rather pricey hence why I wasn't wearing one at my school ball but I'm pretty sure if the time comes I'll commit to the investment so I can look ridiculously dapper at the end of the aisle."
"The city’s best bespoke tailoring service with a smile, Crane Brothers suits can be spotted a mile off due to their fine cut, quality fabric and general air of classic cool. The staff are as knowledgable as it gets and the plethora of fabrics on offer inspiring and unique, making it the perfect place for finding the ideal suit for your needs."
333 Dominion Rd, Mt Eden, Auckland
"Nick’s is the most awesome of discount fabric stores in Auckland and a sale there means super-low furnishing and dress fabric prices. Nick’s is a small shop about half way down Auckland’s Dominion Road, literally packed to its exposed-wood rafters with bargain fabrics. The prices are usually $8 for furnishing and $4 for dress fabrics"
"If you need fabric for any upcoming projects - Nicks is the place to go. A great range but not a huge daunting warehouse. Very friendly service and amazing prices."

"So many sweet wee trinkets and swoonworthy dresses in this place. I love all the jewellery in this place - they would all make excellent gifts. Also - extra points for having an awesome online store."
Shop G1, Westfield 277 Newmarket, 277 Broadway, Newmarket, Auckland 1023
159 Ponsonby Road, Ponsonby, Auckland 1011
"Are you looking to find some new pieces for Winter or perhaps sell a few quality items of your own? Tatty’s is the perfect place to do both. You can take your wardrobe rejects to the store where the knowledgable staff will select items to sell on your behalf but do be prepared to leave with an armful of someone else’s trash turned treasure. The shop stocks mostly local and international designers with a few vintage pieces thrown in the mix. Definitely worth a browse, you don’t know what you might find!"
"Tatty’s is one of my favourite places in Auckland. Not only do I buy tons of stuff there, but I sell my old clothes, purses and shoes back to them. Everything in the shop is in great condition and organized really well by colour and/or by garment (dresses, pants, coats, etc.) I love that I often find designer digs for a fraction of the price - and sometimes the items are brand new! I also spot lots of things I wouldn’t normally be able to find in New Zealand. You have to hunt around a little bit, but I almost never leave empty-handed."
Shop G18--19, 277 Broadway, Newmarket, Auckland
" I love Esprit clothes. They are top quality casual & stylish. Yesterday I walked though this store and within minutes I had bought a top which I didn't need to try on because I can trust the consistency of their sizing. I already know the quality is fantastic. This store is laid out well with sale racks in one area and latest designs in another. The staff were lovely and extremely helpful."

"The traditional op shop is dying. I'm talking about the church op shop that is run by retired old ladies who split their time between water walking, playing bridge, drinking gin and tonics in the afternoon and putting in a few hours at their local charity shop. I'm not saying they don't exist but increasingly in their place we have vintage shops, carefully chosen selections of retro threads with towering price tags. The Paperbag Princess fits somewhere between these two stores. Their nothing over $20 policy means that choosing clothes is affordable and due to that price tag you still have to go for a good rummage to find the treasure (which I enjoy). The staff are young and friendly, and the clothes are constantly being rotated so you know there will be some fresh finds in the mix. Definitely worth checking out. Definitely worth a rummage!"
"I'm mad for second-hand shopping and Paper Bag Princess always has lots of hidden gems, lots of stock and a high turn-over so you know that there will be all new delights next time you visit. Everything in store is less than $20 so you can't go wrong really. Plus if you have a b-card there is a 10% discount on their already low prices."
